seems the ones who were milk monitors at school and had no friends either become traffic wardens or spineless mods in adult life

I'm sorry but that is the most ignorant thing i have read in a long time!

This forum would not even exist if it wasn't for the mods and admin. Without them this place would be over run with spam and utter crap and you wouldn't even get a look in in-between the spam posts for 'grow your ****' and links to dodgy porn and animal sex etc etc etc!!!

I know it is the members who make these sites the great places they are but a lot of people forget that it's the mods/admin that put a hell of a lot of time and effort into keeping them running as smoothly as they do.

Sorry for the rant but please give the guys some respect because if it wasn't for them you wouldn't have a forum to post your views on at all!

From what I can see I think Baldguy was upset at the manner of how the modd edited his thread, specially as Baldguy is one of the original guys who started the forum, he deserved abit more respect and a simple PM explaining why his post is not suitable etc etc would have been better rather than editing his thread straight away and putting letters in capital and sounding abit aggressive.. even though I'm sure the mod wasnt but that's how it looked like reading the edit...

just my personal view, I think the admins/mods do a really good job keeping this forum going, I agree 100% with the above!

Is it time to draw a line under this? I'd rather Baldguy did not go but that's his personal choice, the folks who run this forum do so for nothing and their efforts should not be overlooked in keeping things balanced thanks chaps.

I shoud have added this to my post. A few years ago I left a good motorcycle forum because there were two sets of rules, and that is not acceptable. You are either a member or you are not. I'm not implying in any way thats what happened here but just making a point that different people see thing differently.

Im actually impressed that the thread was kept on the forum, with an explanation - normally threads vanish without a trace and the author left wondering what he/she did wrong.

I was asked to trim down my signature by another mod, simply to make it look tidy and take up less space. I don't understand why you're making such a big deal about it. I'm sure there are other pressing issues to discuss on this forum, like where the drain plug is for the coolant on a W210
