Group remap in Ireland anybody?

Hi all,

I am very jealous of all the smiley happy people who recently had their cars remapped and are now blissfully happy.

So, rather than begrudgery and bitterness, I've opened a conversation with Angel Tuning - who gave so much satisfaction to our fellow fourm members - about organising a group remap in Ireland.

To be very clear on three points as it's early stages:
1 - no venue set as yet
2 - no price set as yet
3 - no deposit required as yet

But I would like to see what interest there is among forum members and their friends and family, to see if we can get 15 cars or more together for a cost-effective group remap from a reputable company. Needless to say, it is not exclusively for MB cars...

Any takers on principle? We can then discuss the details if there is sufficient interest.

As with previous group schemes, I'll kick off as #1...

Id be interested in this as well . I spoke with a company a few months ago about a remap on my petrol car .

I contacted Angel because we have a lot of positive (independent) feedback on the forum about their work - I'm not knocking them, but does anyone have any experience or feedback on ECU-RS?

Nigel in Angel has confirmed costs - if we can get 15 cars together, the cost per car will be eur175 which is pretty good - payment can be done by Paypal.

However - we're still on two.

Ferris Bueller moment - anybody? Anybody?? Remember, it's not just for Mercs and not just for forum members...

Thats a great price , with the other company i was qouted 300 euro .
Will Angel tuning work on Petrol cars ?
I will tell my bro about it , he did mention a wile back that he wanted to get his 325i remapped .

yeah, it's a very competitive price and it looks like most petrol engines can be done - check the make and model you need at www.angeltuning.co.uk, if it's not listed drop an email to Nigel.

good on you, we're up to 7 so.

Angel (www.angeltuning.co.uk) are UK-based, and I've been dealing with Nigel who will come with another engineer on the day, to a venue as yet undecided.

I guess we'll take a vote or a poll when we get sufficient numbers, but for practical purposes we would probably need somewhere close to an airport - either Dublin or Belfast - so the guys can fly in and out again same day, but it will need to be accessible to all.
