First time, 2 weeks before my 18th birthday.
I passed in a diesel Corsa that was a strange Purple colour.

I passed first time after 6 lessons with the best driving instructor in the world :) ( or at least in my opinion he was! )

I passed my theory test a year back and yes after failing it twice before.

My car driving test took me 2 goes (i.e. I failed the first time for breaking a bit too harshly at an amber light... and the truck behind me didn't appreciate).

My motobike I passed without any problems (minors or majors) first time :D

M.

1st time pass in a Nissan Micra, it took 5 months.

Passed 1st time. Was 18 and I couldn't believe how easy it was and I had some added pressure because the guy testing me was being tested by another examiner in the back seat.:dk: They did ask my permision before the other guy jumped in the back.

I passed first time on the 24th of February 2009. However, my test was originally booked for December but that was cancelled along with all of the other tests that week, so the first available test wasn't until February which still wasn't bad considering I started learning on the 1st of September 2008 and had no practice between lessons as my parents' cars were automatic.

Passed the test twice. Once for me and once for my mate! Those were the days!

I passed first time and had no lessons.

I tought myself to drive in a Robin Reliant :D (which you can drive by yourself on L plates if you have passed your motorbike test already)

You missed out a very important bit.

You now have no street cred for admitting that you drove a Robin. I drove a Bond Bug so I've even less.lol

dude, bond bugs are COOL.

Only uncool people think bond bugs are uncool.

only bad thing about them is the leak through the keyhole when it rains...

proof that they are cool, compare to old w124 prices

BOND BUG 700 ES ORANGE on eBay (end time 03-Jul-10 13:18:23 BST)

BOND BUG 700 ES ORANGE (1973) FOR SALE on eBay (end time 04-Jul-10 19:19:01 BST)

Having travelled 25000 miles in one, mostly on 3 wheels, but often on 2, I can confirm that you know nothing about how bad a Bond Bug can be.

Coolness is in the eye of the beholder. Dude your glasses must be frosted!:D

Ride quality is irrelevant, no pain, no ga^H^H^H no cool-ness.

The beholder does not have a sore bum, the beholder sees a cool little car.
