In the market for a c63 amg new to forum

Hi all.

Looking for a early one. Seen a few over the last month or so between the £20,000 to £25,000 mark. Been looking on the obvious sites, pistonheads, eBay, auto trader. Is there any other places to look?

Welcome, try mercedes used direct. Much better to buy with a warranty from merc dealer

Alternatively check out c63 offers on the merc website. 6k deposit and 599 a month. Facelift C63 much better

Budget is really 25 k so there all a bit over my price range lol

H, I'm in a similar position, Really want to get a C63 but wonder whether its worth spending 25 - 30k of my own money on a second hand PP or leasing a new one for the offers that merc have on at the moment and having the safety of a warranty but no further ability to mod (remap etc).

Is there much that goes wrong or to be aware of buying secondhand thoughts by anyone would be much appreciated.

I am having a nightmare finding one with the spec I'm after !! To be honest I would only buy one as I love to mod all my cars. It seems only a small handful seem to have LSD yet I thought on early 07 to 010 c63's they came with LSD as part of PP.

Yeah I have actually came across that thread once before while doing a search. Problem I'm having is when I see one I like and enquire if it has lsd I sometimes get the answer yes that's part of the pp package but apparently from what I've searched that's not the case. Also I've read that all the early 07 / 08 cars came standard with LSD ?? I know to some people it means nothing but to me I'd have to have the LSD. It amazes me that they make a car with that kind of torque and bhp and don't fit it as standard. I'm confused how I could verify before buying if it has this option. I rang mercedes today with a reg of one I was interested in that the seller said had lsd but the dealer said they could find nothing on there system that says it does or doesn't.

You can always retrofit a quaife LSD from Birds. About £1600 or so...

Mmm now that could be an option. Providing I can get a non lsd one for the right money.
