PH7 is neutral.don't get too caught up with Ph levels.. Many solvent based products are also ph7 or close to that and will strip your wax in no time at all.

£10-00 but their after sales service does not exist - I wanted a replacement washer and mailed a few times without reply.

Click the link£10? where?
It really does make a difference buying a good snow foam lance. The Autobrite lance that Lee recommended is a great item and knocks out some serious suds. I wouldn't advise you to buy a £10 lance, this is probably the reason why people don't get good results.

I recently started to use Autoglym Polar Blast and find it very good. After reading more of this thread I checked the pH and it is 7.35 - probably as close as you can get to neutral. The solvents are long chained alcohols. CHeers. Garethdon't get too caught up with Ph levels.. Many solvent based products are also ph7 or close to that and will strip your wax in no time at all.
Very interesting views from a professionalWhen I started my valeting business I didn't use it as, has been already pointed out you still need to go over the car with a mitt to get everything off.
I do however use it now if nothing else for PR purposes!
It seems to have a positive psychological affect on my client's when they see their car all white!!.
I use Autoglym Polar Blast. On heavily soiled cars it goes on and gets left to loosen that, then washed off ready for a good old fashioned hand wash.![]()

This guy seems to disagree with you! My £17 lance from the same link above makes suds as thick or thin as I want them......
You suggested that AntMB should buy a £10 cannon, I said that I wouldn't advise on buying a £10 cannon and the Autobrite that Lee suggested (which I have) is a good item to buy at £35.
The video you attached shows a range of cannons starting at +/-£22, more than twice as much as the item you suggested Ant should buy. I've had a £10 plastic cannon that came with the pressure washer and it was useless.
What is your point. The video didn't show a £10 cannon being as good as a £35 cannon, so why did he disagree with me
I didn't wish to view the whole video so after the pricing line up I skipped to the summary, if I've missed some relevant info, please enlighten me.
How do you know the £10-00 units do not work? Are they the same as the unit you had?
Your implication is that more expensive units are better.
As stated, I have a £17-00 unit that works perfectly well so why pay £35? The snow foam mixers / cannons/ lances are very simple bits of kit and like all fads the sellers are climbing on the bandwagon and charging exorbitant prices.
