Is there a Merc Service Specialist in Yorkshire or Manchester?????

Hello Guys,
My s320, 2001, with 87000 miles is due for service A, is there a recommended Spcialist in around Yorkshire(Huddersfield, Wakefield, Leeds, Halifax, bradford, close around areas) or Manchester that one can recommend. I have had quotes from mercedes Huddersfield, wakefield and leeds, bradford and they all have quotes for £320 and extra for anything else if needed.

Please let me know if theres any good Independent or dealers around.

Delaceys In Brighouse is supposed to be first class never used them but never heard a bad word about them. I think someone on here has used them recentley if you search

Manchester to Kirkham is less than 50 miles I think, Kirkham from me in Doncaster is about 100 miles.

Well worth the trip I would have thought at least you know for sure your car is in safe hands.

Merc Care in Pudsey is quite near here.
They have been around for a lot of years and a friend of mine uses them.
BUT - I have never used them myself.

Anything I can't do, I use Rodley Motors in Dudley Hill, Bradford.
They are a good independent garage - One of only a couple round here I would trust to do anything for me.

There are two companies named Merc-Care, one in London N11 & one in Pudsey LS28.

In post #4 I was talking about the one near Leeds. I have no knowledge of the London company.

Regarding Merc Care in Pudsey - I don't use them myself, as I am a DIYer
However, they are only about 3 miles from where I work, and I have not heard any other adverse reports.

I booked my ML320 car in for a diagnostics check with Delaceys due to an intermittant misfire and intermittant rough running. The results showed misfires on every cylinder and they suggested the problem was either the MAF sensor, a failing cat or something to do with the gas conversion on the car that they could not look at. I had just fitted a new MAF sensor so not that! However, because they could not pinpoint the cause of my problems they would not accept payment for the diagnostics which they had quoted me at £49+VAT. They were very prompt and courteous and I would definitely go back there.

Deutche Mark but these guys wont talk to you unless you book car in and pay


I used Vagco in past VAG specialist but he does not want touch mercedes
