I used Vagco in past VAG specialist but he does not want touch mercedes

Communication from Deutche Mark is useless they dont reply to emails wont give you a straight answer on the phone, I contacted them about my engine mounts but they couldn't be bothered. If JDW is the one in Balby I've heard some things that aren't very complimentary but personally don't know them and have not used them

Think my car will be going over to TMS in Kirkham near Blackpool

That's the general rule to running a business though; making money. You'd be amazed how many people ring up garages looking for a free diagnosis over the phone and then get the work done elsewhere...

I use both Star at Moorends and Deutsche Mark, they're both well recommended and I'd send any of my cars to either of them.

I bought my first E300TD from the proprietor - He had owned it from new.
Also my previous E230TE.
