The headlamp washers on my R129 have suddenly started dripping, the o/s one doing it at at the GTG on Sunday and the n/s one on the drive at home when I got back!
Because they're both doing it I'm assuming it's something 'central' rather than a problem with the individual jet assemblies (unless huge coincidence). As they are lower than the reservoir there must be some mechanism to stop the fluid draining all the time by siphon action .. perhaps a valve that opens under pressure i.e. when the pump runs?
The headlamp washers are VERY rarely used, which may be a factor. The flexible pipes to each wiper arm are firmly attached and in good condition (the only thing I could easily check).
Couldn't find any info. via search, so grateful for your suggestions!
TIA
