Magical mystery.... who mapped my car?

Oof! Crail. You'll never get a reliable 1/4 time there. You would be better doing it on sand.

No 60ft times I'm afraid. 0-60 in the C63 is futile in my opinion unless you are on some sticky rubber. A half decent launch in a PPP with map should be 3.8/3.9s to 60. My pre facelift ran 4.0 consistently. I'm more interested in the rolling acceleration as that is what will make up for the rwd elements on launch. 0-120 took 12s on the stock map which is why I'm hedging my bets on an 11.9 or better with the map.

cool, so you planning on doing quarter days or sticking with the computer kit? i have no i idea about this kit, what are the costs etc?

yeah crail isn't a great surface but its the same for everyone i suppose (although not as much of a hindrance to the quattro crew) and with that little less grip off the mark it's not stressing the drivetrain as much. i've just went for fun against whoever else comes on the day, not trying to set the fastest time in the uk if you know what i mean.

I'll probably do a couple of Pod or Shakespeare rwyb days to see how it fairs. I did a good number of rwyb events with my A45 so I'm hoping to beat the 11.8 @ 116 I achieved in that.

The racelogic Performance box is a good bit of kit. You can pick them up 2nd hand for £250/300. Look on Amazon or eBay. Once you've done your runs you can upload the files as above to check they are valid. Vboxverify will check elevation, satellite info, gradients, forces etc. If your run is downhill for example the site will tell you the run is invalid. Good for proving your figures.

Some great information there..... I'm more track day orientated, but those figure are impressive for any 1700kg road car.

4.4 60 to 100. Reckon we'll easily get a 4.3 on this map.

S+ , Sports Handling and from about 50mph. You could probably go quicker by holding gears in manual. That works for 60-130 test. Iirc start in 3rd and hold 5th through to 130.

OK I did some logging on my Eurocharged 2013 non-PP C63. The throttle opens at 87% max and sits at that through most of the rev range.

Same as mine then.

Just back from dyno. My stock figure was 425whp / 500bhp. Mapped is 439whp / 516bhp. Throughout the range the uplift is good.

Cool, sounds very worthwhile then :)

Any plans for some headers at some stage?

Will it need a further remap if you do the cat delete (I know it would be best, but is it necessary) ??

Not sure. I think the V5 map has the adaptations built in but I'm happy to be corrected.

Who was in the other C63s that turned up? Craig Darrah was there and there were 2 other C63 coupe's. I left before they ran but got the info.

so what would mine have made, same map as yours but with filters and removed secondaries and X pipe 530-540 maybe ?
Wish I could of made it down

No idea. Only way to find out is to run.

For info though. My car is being run in 4th gear on an inertia dyno setup. The dyno can run loaded or inertia though. My car has only run inertia.

Today's results are what they are, just results on a single dyno.

Another car ran today and because my car was suffering a little tyre slip at around 2300 to 2700 rpm (wet tyres) Phil later ran a car on a loaded system. The stock non-Ppp car ran approx 468 bhp. The car was then mapped and pulled 530bhp. The figure was corrected to 452 and circa 515 which is more like the correct figures for stock vs mapped.

Take graph figures with a pinch of salt. Gains are more important. Also, try to use the same dyno and same modes.

Cat delete and filters won't make much if any difference
Biggest gains for a M156 engine are long tube headers which would push you up to around 550bhp
