Wheels look nice but a small drop would set it off so they fit in the arch radius perfect.

I wasn't aware sport modes lowered the car! I guess I'm driving everywhere in 1 mode haha

Another trip to London Yesterday to pick my boy up, Got my number 2 son to take a quick pick,

I know having a AMG is not about MPG lol but i find it so impressive that you can get 29.6 out of one on steady trip, Cruise at 57mph most of the way, Still didnt get as much as i could from Brutus but that was mapped which must of helped.

Well had a trip to London Thursday, Next day i noticed id picked up a Puncture in the Osr Doh..... Down to 20 psi, i had it proffesionally repaired and the tyre fitter done a pukka job removing and refitting the tyre without any damage whatsoever to the alloy

Next Job was a Partial Brake fluid change, Now rightly or wrongly i simply haven't got star to bleed the brakes... So i did what i had done on Brutus.

That was to empty the brake fluid reservoir by syringing the old stuff out approx 480ml and replacing with new not that it was particularly bad. I shall do this again after doing a few 1000 or so miles seems to do the trick.

Mileage Just for the record of all this is currently 105,412

Also Manage to get approx 20mpg from the last run as it was a rather enthusiastic drive on the way home pmsl

Anyway just thought id update the thread, The car hasn't missed abeat and simply looks and drives amazing.

Get yourself a Star system, very very handy, I'm sure it would pay for itself in no time.
Doing the fluid change with Star is a doddle.

It would also encourage you to do more random mods.

Had another little run out today, got a rough sound pulling up coming from the rear, Closer inspection looking like new Rear disc's needed as there are lipped so will be getting those changed along with a set a Pads, lets just hope the pin's come out easier than Brutus's as i ended up having a new caliper on that doh, Gave the leather a soften up with Gliptone and quick go over with the detailer once id got back.

Thanks Pat, I love them to bits but they are such a T*** to clean lol, Really Love driving the car, although i do tend to press on quite abit with it more than i ever did with Brutus, Its so easy to drive Fast without being scared of it lol. Brutus was a Handful "in a good way of course" pmsl

And Some Detailing at Last,

The term detailing does get chuck around about, i dont really know at what point detailing becomes a obsession?

But ihad a couple of hours free tonight so took the Side trims off for a good clean as you can never get all that rubbish out, always when you open the door you always get the brown stain at the corner ends of the side mouldings that you can only ever get off by removing the trim.

Merc's clips i find are tbh alot better quality than others, and usually can be reused, All my slid off nicley and went back on without a hitch and the results are definitely rewarding and worth doing,

Nice work fella

I cleaned under mine in the summer because i hate the little bits of dirt that fall out after jetting the car over and it's well worth it. I always think it just takes one little peice of grit from under there to put a lovely scratch on the car when drying or washing.

It may seem extream and pointless but it's sort of like taking the seats out to shampoo underneith ... you KNOW it's clean

Had the day off today, so cracked on with the engine bay.

I removed the Header tank for better access to the inner wings, certainly made that side easier.

So made a start on the Bonnet hinges, and Door hinges the wife thinks i've gone mad as i seem to do this to every Merc i get lol

I did cheat a little i forgot to take a pic of the osf before cleanign but it was the same as the Nsf above lol.

Everything was re greased of course of with clear Grease
