I've got the HFP in mine. The connector looks completely different, much smaller.

Bishy, you need the telephone pre-wire option to fit the HFP module. Does your centre armrest have a two-part cover which hinges open on each side, i.e. split down the middle?

The picture you have posted does not look like my armrest. My old Nokia cradle didn't have that curly cord next to it because it plugged into a small socket on the bottom of the armrest space. This is also what the HFP module plugs into.

I'm guessing that your motor doesn't have telephone pre-wire, in which case the HFP may well unfortunately be of no use to you...

ViseeO (from Comand Online) is the right BT solution for this older car kit.

Just to confirm, you have an earlier W211 E class which has the fixed Nokia 6310i system in and not the exchangeable cradle UHI system.

Thus your only solutions are
a) rip out system and put in UHI ($$$)
b) Add a Viseoo MBU-1000 which will then use bluetooth (car thinks it has a Nokia !)
c) Go buy a Nokia 6310i and use that

Cheers
Richard

Cheers matey, looks like number 2...use a 6310 but its a pain in the ass and Id like to just use my sony ericsson :thumb:

I had the same problem Bishy....
I have now got the ViseeO MBU1000, it works great and i have uploaded all my phone contacts into the car, the system thinks it has a 6310 in the cradle and i can access all the phone funtions through the command, handsfree is also through the car speakers and utilises the cars mic. It's actually a great bit of kit.:bannana:

I bought it off flea bay for £130.00
Money well spent in my book....:D
