Mini 'South' GTG - Saturday 4th December

manual, I hope to pick it up tomorrow.

Picked it up looks good but has no Screws in the pack to install it. Has anyone got the appropiate screws or can tell me what to get. Sym do you fancy doing it on saturday pm or shall I try to do it tommorrow?

My manual one is secured on the rear shelve by self tappers that screw directly into the bottom corner of shelf, the top "black" holders are just clipped in, all fairly easy.

off at Junction three (assuming you are travelling south) Turn left off motorway, down a dip to some traffic lights, turn left, hotels on your right but you have to go around the roundabout to get to it.
2 minutes from Motorway and very nice it is too!

I'm at a do until 1.30 but will be there by 2.
Do I need to bring any tools or anything Sym??

Is there room at this late stage for a newbie (and fully paid up, card-carrying petrolhead - a female one too no less! ) to join in? I found this forum linked from the Lotus 7 Club BBS a few weeks ago, and as I have a 53 plate C200 Coupé I thought I'd join and lurk around to see what was going on. It certainly looks to be very friendly and helpful, though I haven't had a chance to post anything yet, not even a proper 'hello'!

However, back on topic.... definitely interested in any social meet-ups going on, so hope it's not too late to join in this one especially as it's not that far from me (Southwest London). Plus there's the major incentive of seeing some of those monster cars that people are bringing along too!

Oh a word of warning for anyone coming to and from London. The Blackwall tunnel is down to 1 lane again this weekend for about the third on the trot. Traffic is murder and avoid Blackheath as it took me ages to get to the Rotherhithe tunnel that way. I used the A20 and then the back roads down past Millwall's Den to Surrey Quays.

GRAV888 in E55 + my missus in her CLK 230K Cabrio. (Only cos she is going to Asda though, but said she would come for half an hour or so. (Now I've got 2 bloody cars to wash and polish tomorrow AM as well as fit brakes all round to a friends MX3)

Oh and GRAV888 you'll be pleased to hear you won't be the only one washing cars in the freezing cold early tomorrow morning - I've got to do mine as well after a very rainy trip to France last weekend and a drive down a few salted and gritted country roads tonight have made it more than a bit grimy!
