My Search Has Come To An End....

No, it's one of the last of the pre-facelift.

I will probably do the power upgrade before the wheels, because the ones that are on have loads of tread left.

It will be like ***'s then - pre facelift grille, but facelift steering wheel and gearknob.

Definitely a D6 (III), not a D6 (II) which is for the IL6. Mine is W/S211 736 000.

Looking foward to the piccies :thumb:

There's a guy works down the chipshop swears he's Elvis........

Oh, sorry, wrong train of thought............there's a guy on the other side (Gizze) who has a pal selling a D6(III).
I've not looked to see if he's on here too :dk:

Nice car. Looking forward to pictures. Also interested to hear your experiences if/when you fit a DIII.

Great news. Congratulations.

At last :) Enjoy chap.

I'm off to the West Country tonight in mine, despite substantial badgering from my friend to bring the Ducati instead (because she wants some pillion time) - changed her mind when I pointed out she doesn't like crosswinds and the projected weather for this weekend. :D

Nice one, it sounds like you're enjoying the new car, sounds like a good one too, 7 speed box?, I'm jelous:p.

And SBC brakes.

Its an AG, not a sport. It will all be pre facelift on there. Only the sports got the facelifted parts:cool:

I saw a silver E class sport estate and thought, ah, that would be good, think of all the BBQs I could get in the back.

Brabus tuning box now fitted.
I was going to wait, but I couldn't help myself...

Tell us what it is like...

Should I, shouldn't I.....Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

Definitely, it sharpens the whole car up and makes it feel a lot lighter on its feet.
Best upgrade remap wise I have had on a car, really, really impressed with it.

Does it matter than its done over 60k miles, MB recommend engines get it fitted when they are young?

Mine has now got 95k on it.

I wouldn't worry, unless you are going to hoof it absolutely everywhere.

Nice one sweetpea, post some images when you can.

Steve, just do it, been telling you for ages, I remaped my CDi when it had 67K on the clock and did over 7k miles and nothing happened apart from loads of power:rock:

It still changes gear at 4K (ish) - it's hard to stress a big diesel.

As Mrs Doyle would say, "go on, go on, go on, go on"
JFDI.

As you'll know Steve, there's one for sale on here (or from a members friend).

***,
Reasons to get the Brabus;
1. It makes your car go faster and more responsive.
2. You get more mpg in comparative situations.
3. I'm pretty sure it's the only one that Mercedes endorse.

Reasons NOT to get the Brabus;
1. You're a woman. :ban: :p
