My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

Here is a mod for you guys.... I'm the proud owner of a shallow merc boot liner as of today, it's as sweet as a nut all rubber and plastic... Mmm nice. The mrs got it for local dealer in York £85quid... Oh they know how to charge... While I went in to collect it later The mrs sat in the car and a sales guy came out with one if the mechanics for a smoke, they didn't know The other half was in the car and she heard them saying what "model is that it's not a c63 but it looks very nice" the mechanic said "it must of had a load of amg mods fitted I didn't know they were available as after sales and I've never seen them wheels before... When I got back in the car and drove off I saw the other sales staff all looking out of the window as i told told mrs they had never heard of a sports plus at the after sales counter??? Nothing like knowing your product mb uk staff. Hence why i never got it from local dealers as they are useless on cars and vans. What I didn't tell the mrs was I got a price to supply and fit amg door pins, wait for it... £294 inc fitting... Think I'll be calling my old friends at CKS and fitting them myself...

Oh and I know it's a bit boy racer but got a black aluminium Amg tax disc holder coming don't like the merc plastic one it say Mercedes in small letters and corporate under it in huge white letters... Doesn't go with the boot liner at all!!!

Cheers Dresho. Can't wait to sort out the rest of the wee touches tho. Yours is defo getting there too.

With all the problems people seem to be having in getting a hold of one; its great to be able to actually drive it every day and even mod it up to our hearts content.

lol yeah - esp yours was ahead of its time it seems - your amg sport - had all the sports plus features and more so already put on - maybe there were inspired by the magoo coupe lol

Funillly enough, t'was a similar situation for me when I picked my car up new. Customers all over it asking what edition it was. Maybe they took the feedback back to MBHQ and agreed a toned down version of the Magoo Sport. A month later the Sport Plus was born!

Maybe next year there will be a Sport Plus (Dresho Edition 127) all dressed in black with no red seat belts in sight?

Cool! Black seatbelts for me as you know, but will move my personal plate across just as soon as the New reg becomes "so last year"! :)

lol i wacked my personal plate straight on couldnt help it but in hindsight may have been good to keep the new plate for a while - esp if there are any upset patients walking through the car park and identify my name on the plate lol

I've been mulling over whether I should transfer my plate straight away or not to mine when I get it, originally wanted to keep it with the 62 plate on in the way that you're talking about Rich, but in the end I've decided to transfer it across now so that it'll have my plate on when I pick it up. Think it'll be more "personal" if the car has my plate on when I arrive at the dealer to collect it

Whichever way you do it though it's all good isn't it - it's a brand new MB at the end of the day :thumb:

I thought that - when I've seen people on here posting pics of their cars in the showroom just before they're ready to be collected; not really on if other people are going in and out of it before you pick it up is it.. Or am I being a bit too precious :D
