Pure finish automotive detailing... Still negotiating the price as they do the vans in my business and have full detail on the Range Rover every six months so I am looking for a sizeable discount!!! yes thats who i i went to - looks amazing the work - i think £900 was a rough quote for the best top detailing job and there are other cheaper options - ive emailed him back so hopefully we can come to some arrangement as want it done prior to my sisters wedding. The quality of his work speaks for itself but as in life sometimes great quality hurts the damn pocket and you want to find that balance lol

lighting pack

When I got the bulbs in the foot well and wing mirrors changed at CKS to led's I thought something was wrong as the foot well lights are on all the time but I've since found out that's the lighting pack, didn't realise it was standard on the saloon until last week...
Pins look good doc, miles better than plain black.I'm going for the AMG ones I think. I would say I will post done pictures but for some reason I can't. Tried uploading direct which no joy and I uploaded a album onto photo bucket still with no joy so I have given up....

tried to post pic of the welcome light inside when you unlock your car at night

hey kid dav - just to keep you updated - the front ones arent made by the company but want they are willing to do is to spray a metal designed for the front the colour satin black (looks sweet you know i like black lol) and then apply the white amg sticker to it at the bottom.

ive asked him to send me the quote to do this and also will need one for the rear (as i like it all to match exactly!)

i will pm you the email once they respond. ( i had ordered some on fleebay in the interim but looks like will send them back as these sound better)

- dechrome the a curved license surround they have
-spray satan black
-apply a amg logo

to me that seems stp asked them to do better price but would not shift evn though bought quite a bit through them

so will try EMP and a few other places for differnt quots as im sur that can be done for a btter price - in th mean time i will try the one iv got of ebay for £11 and see if that fits and lets you know

front lip - carlson front lip (rs lip) is now available to ordr - i hav orderd mine yestrday - they will spray it obsidian black and costs £400 al together (spray colour and delivery - will be £320 if deliverd plain)

once arrived and fitted will show you how looks - cheers dr nab for the ref!

Hi mate, yes that is a bit pricey just for a reg surround and to be honest the one on the front of mine is just plain black so not too bad.

Where did you get the carlsson front lip from in the end? I might look into this hehe lol

PS. Look what arrived this morning. Quality is ok, gonna go compare with original now and maybe try it for size.



Black Bonnet Badge

Ok guys, so today my new black bonnet badges arrived. The badge came in 2 parts, with the Mercedes emblem part just sticking to the surround plate via ore applied 3M tape. Below is some before and after pictures.....

To be honey guys the fit against the bonnet is not 100% and anything that is not perfect niggles me. For this reason I may not keep the badge on :/ what you all think?

Hi and thanks for the pics. A bit hard to tell from these pics to be fair, I can't really see the poor fit. Quality looks ok but not quite as good as the original IMHO though. If you are not happy with the fit, then perhaps get rid? Cheers

hey matey - which seller did you get that from - looks a bit different from mine the lettering seems a bit smaller - looks better black on black bonnet but hard to see the fit - if the fit you feel is poor and sounds like your like me it will contantly niggle you - get rid and and put it down to a first trail and get one your happy with

When mine arrive if im not happy i will get rid too

ps yeah that is too pricey for just a surround is defo a no go - my front surround is black and cool to so i will see what this ebay one is like i have ordered and if no good probably just find a silver amg logo to fit the inferior part of the front license plate (to look like the rear plate bought of cks)

if my merc badge does not fit like yours i may get the amg one that we posted up on here a few pages back that look your your centre caps but have the bonnet fitment and are 57mm

Black badge, if the text was a bit thicker I guess it would be ok, if it doesn't fit right then don't bother with it stick to the standard part
