Yeah, regarding the fees, you still pay the £125 fee rather than the £80 transfer if you want to collect the car on your plate, as you have to apply for retention given that the new vehicle (which hasn't even been built yetAh decisions, decisions!
Plus the retention costs / getting plates done yourself! May just swing it....

Like you say, the plates will be made by MB so no worries there.
My Wife is having my old car so we're transferring her plate onto mine, and MB are looking after all of it for me - they've been superb so far - nice touch offering to do both cars for us I thought
