hey mate called cks today and spoke to ahmed - he tried seeing if one of there rear plates in stock would fit on front and said with screws comes to breaking point - as they get them from germany ive aksed him to source one from them and see if they can make one for the front - he has requested this and will get back to me next week - ive said may need two as your interested. Will keep you informed

hi mate - yes i asked this on pick up of my car - my front and sides have a slight tint on them (nothing like the rear and back) - i asked about doing these but they said they could be reponsible if it didnt meet uk regulations as they already had a level of tint on them that was acceptable - and been the fact i get stopped REGULARLY - (and relax once i wind down the window and they see im in my surgical scrubs ) i didnt want to get bothered with hassles of checks all the time as it annoys me enough as it is

Yeh I know that all new cars are already tinted to the max legal limits (on the front doors), but you can tint as dark as you want on anything behind. I take it you have limo black on the back 3 then and just the factory tiny on the doors?

ooh magoo did find some simple black merc badges if you were replacing your blue effciency ones still.

Managed to actually drive behind my car today (in the Mrs's ML on way to get her service done). Wot a car. It's a shame sometimes that we have to sit IN our cars, when they look this good from the outside! Bias? Nah.

Tatally know what you mean, I was driving home the other night and saw a white merc from behind in the distance as I got closer I saw my reg plate and realised it was the mrs... The led indicator cluster looks smart and the car from the back looks awesome. When I got home I said to the mrs the car has a nicer behind than hers...... She laughed and said I was sad???? I wasn't joking though!!! Lol!!

Me too and it's bloody dark inside and that's with the pan roof on mine... Well when I say mine it's the misses that drives it and it's her car I just pay for it!

lol it can get a little dark at night but the pins breed new light!lol - and the lighting pack keeps it all sweet

When I got the bulbs in the foot well and wing mirrors changed at CKS to led's I thought something was wrong as the foot well lights are on all the time but I've since found out that's the lighting pack, didn't realise it was standard on the saloon until last week...
Pins look good doc, miles better than plain black.I'm going for the AMG ones I think. I would say I will post done pictures but for some reason I can't. Tried uploading direct which no joy and I uploaded a album onto photo bucket still with no joy so I have given up....

Cheers; but was actually thinking of replacing the Blue Efficiency badges with a simple V6 badge like I have (as standard) on the wings of my ML. Any other ideas gratefully received.

They have them on the CKS site, but I don't know what size they are. I'd only want them if they were quite small/ discreet.

Yes doing that? I must be doing something wrong although it says the picture is too big for the file... God knows I'm a builder I'll get one of the office girls to take a look when I get chance, you might see some pics before Christmas... Although the car is going in for a full detail and protection coat over the weekend so will take some fresh pics after its done and gleaming!
