Newbie - not at fault claim - MB C250 depreciation

Hi,
In August a tanker took the side and front off my car approaching a roundabout. No probs in liability - they are 100% at fault. Car is a white C250 2011 reg and the depreciation value has been given as £2000. Does this seem about right? How do I get a non biased valuation?? Gutted....

As it would have lost that in the time it took you to put the lid on the pen you signed the order form with I would think it was reasonble.

Obviously if it was badged as a CLK when it was a C Class then the tanker driver did the world a favour.

Haha it's a C250 - had to register really quickly to post always just been a lurker until now! The CLK was always my dream car before having a baby and had to opt for the old family favourite can't change my info until I've posted 30 times! We actually bought it in April 2011 for 21k and thought we'd got a pretty good deal. Pre-facelift but only had 6k miles on the clock. Has 12k miles now...
