The boy done good. Everything came together for him, and he's due some good luck after the bad luck he had earlier in the season. This time, Rosberg was the one shafted by Fate, but I would bet the thought 'will it happen to my car too' was in Hamilton's mind for the entire race.

Apparently it was the wiring loom - Grober was right - using left over W124 components not such a good idea.

Break in the loom in the steering coloumn.
A common problem as they are tightly packaged and have to endure a relatively high amount of movement.:fail

The in-car footage of JB's McLaren rebooting mid corner raised an eyebrow for me.. screen went blank and after a second it showed the McLaren boot screen.. half expecting a BSOD, lol.
