Oxfordshire/Bucks GTG - Updated

Sorry guys.
Didn't get in from a nights work until 1pm.
Maybe next time ;)
Maybe I'll sort one out just before xmas in my yard with a bbq and all :D
Let's see if we can get more MB cars in there than MB trucks :bannana:

Just to add my thanks to the organiser Lazarus. alias Jason. A great day and great weather too.

Thanks to Maff for the ride in the CL65 AMG, I'll get over it honest. :D

Only mar to the day was hitting a Pheasant on the way back, he didn't make the run across the road in front of me, He went to Pheasant heaven, but the car is OK before you ask.

Sorry for the late reply but the kids have been monopolising the pc. Had a good day out, the 2 locations were tops with picturesque settings.

Good to put faces to names and cars. Matt's coupe is awesome of course, we can only dream. Shaun's C43 is a real cool car, the Lorinser wheels on Marc's E class make it really stand out - I can still smell his tyre smoke ffrom our quick cross country blast. I had to seriously cut some corners to keep the 17 foot barge in contention, then I saw Matt looming large in the mirror taking four cars in one blast.
my brakes got a roasting!

Sorry that C43AMG missed us. I have a suggestion, perhaps a mobile number could be made available for future GTG's, say the GTG organisers' mobile could be PM'd to attendies the night before in case of last minute changes or late comers missing out? Just a thought.

A Quick Hello To The All Guys I Met At The Oxford Gtg, Good To Put Faces To Some Of The Prominent Names In The Forum And To See What Goes On At The Gtg's. Its Rare These Days To Find Any Group Of Poeple As Welcoming As I Found On Arriving As A Stranger To The Event. A Great Afternoon In My Book And I Hope To Attend Another Soon Even Though I Felt A Little Under Powered With Just 1.8!

looks like you had a good time guys. Am i the only one who thinks maffs car is rubbish? ;)

Errr, yes you are!

Thanks to everyone who came along, I've been singing the praises of the '65 to all and sundry.

As for making the local meet more of a regular thing, the landlord in my local said he'd be happy to host a regular GTG at his pub, and would probably throw in some free grub... Would this be of interest?

Good Drivin And Good Company, I Would Like Be Able To Attend More Gtg's And A Local Meeting Point Like Ox/buck Would Be Great. Sounds Good To Me :)
