I have done a fair bit of looking around - and it seems that _some_ magistrates will just say "amend the ticket correctly" - - which I cant believe!
Surely there is the element of 'beyond reasonable doubt' - which, if the issuing officer cant get either the date right, or the colour. Then is it not reasonable to assume they could well have got the time wrong, or the location wrong, or, indeed the registration wrong? Or - more importantly, if the area in question has the correct signage etc etc.
Its a gamble I s'pose.
