PCS GTG on the 12th of May 2012

Thanks to Ollie and Co for yet again a great day. I drove down in my sons C270cdi, averaging 53 mpg . Picked up 190OMG ( Simon from Silchester) and came to the event in what someone called, a throw away car. A 190E 2.6. Needless to say we had a good time meeting new and old faces. On the way back a conversation was started as to what the said 190 would do? 90 mpg, drop the pedal and it changed down gear. Not shabby for a 23 year old car. The food was absolutly fabulous, well worth the 500 mile round trip. See you all again next year, might even come in a G Wagon , watch this space.

Great Day & Thanks PCS

Thanks to Olly, Jack & Matt for a great day on Saturday. Thanks also to Matt for my gear oil change. It was really great to meet everyone, especially my fellow C55 comrades. That has got to be the largest gathering of us C55 owners to date (all 3 of us)!! Quick hi to everyone i did get to speak with especially, Coggers, Charles, Don, Alps & hope to see you all again in the future. The pic below is Charles & mine C55's. Shame we didn't get Coggers in the shot too.

I have to say on behalf of everyone we all have a big debt of gratitude to Olly. The food that was laid on was really top notch mate. I think you know I liked the hog roast.

Remember how I used to rant about traffic cops. I really do hate their sense of timing, I was going to be heroic in this and what was in the mirror, a BMW traffic car. It cruises beautifully at 70. Mark, thanks for the privildge of driving it
