PCS GTG on the 12th of May 2012

Just got back after a great weekend :) Many thanks to Ollie, Jack & Matt for putting on a great show, the piggy was so tasty. Good to meet lots of new people yesterday then a nice trip around MB World at Brooklands today with *** and BEJ.

Looks like the usual great event at Ollie's, we were gutted we couldn't make it :(

Sort of following the 6R4 theme though a friend of mine parked behind us at the dog show in one of these (QT Wildcat V8)

We had a really great afternoon, thanks for Olly in hosting the event and as others have said the food and drink laid on was 1st class.

Very nice to meet up with familiar members once again, I did try and speak to most but so many of you there so hopefully I said hi!!!

All that were there looked like you were having a great time as did I and so interesting to hear of all the bits and peices going on with the various cars.

How many C55's!!!

There was a really nice blue C43 snuck up the corner which looked well cared for and very original but most of all I think we all looked like we had pride and joy in our cars. :thumb:

Thanks for the drive in your CLS Richard, very very nice ride. Steve, good job it wasn't there on the way out eh!!

Kamal, where on earth was your C63???
Corned....glad you made it and nice to see you on the surface, looking well and enjoying yourself. :)

I know there were quite a few cars around the corner, but so many to look at. Whoever went out in that SL Brabus, well done!! I think I may have left a brown spot or two on the seat if I had been in there after seeing and hearing that thing go.........

Mark.

Was parked around the corner as I didn't want to get blocked in and dashed not long after lunch, but got there early - no doubts we'll meet again and we can compare notes.

Front Plate

Brabus, I meant to ask, what happened to your front number plate?

After having my bumper resprayed, the number plate would not stick back on, plust it eas badly peppered, so I ordered another front plate from "Craigs Plates" they are pressed metal ones, they have not arrived as yet , my old one is in the boot, I should keep it on my dash but the reflection of it from the windscreen was distracting me.
Honest Guv! :D

Thats ok. Motorbikes don't have one on the front and get away with every single day! I'm sure you'll be fine. :D

Thanks to all that came to the 5th PCS GTG. I think it was my busiest yet.

Thanks to Jack and Matt for the hard work. Thanks to matts mum for the catering

It was great to see you all again and I'm sorry I didn't manage to get to talk to you all.

See you all next year.

Thanks for a good day Olly, and for taking me for a spin out in your C43 :thumb:

Great food and company ;)

Good to meet everyone, to put some faces to names :D

Too many beautiful, rust-free, Mercedes cars in these pictures.

You stand the risk of giving their well-documented corrosion problems a bad name ...

He quarantined it for our protection and came in a Toyota.

The Scottsman actually turned up at MB World today with the Toyota, then had the cheek to denigrate nearly all the cars that we sat in.
No boot carpet under the spare wheel, paintwork that could be seen from inside the car, cheap plastic trim etc. etc.
Good to meet up with you and Pete today Steve. See you on the Yorkshire Yomp.
Brian.

I'm trying to convince Mrs Red she needs to attend one of these for a day out.

Lovely sea air, plenty of food, nice drive out.

I'll keep trying.

He gets excited does our Steve.

I think it was the prospect of free food rather than the excitement of the Rav 4.
His poor car is sitting at the Indy with what looks like the front ar$e has fallen out of it.

He always said his car was a c***

None of them could compare to the little Toyota....

Shoddy panel gaps, visible wires in the air vents non carpeted boot wells. Cars don't have to be this way.

Although in saying that I do miss my upholstered door seals which Metcedes have sadly pulled in the newer models. It was a class feature.

Top weekend, was good meeting you. Pete, good luck in Germany. Hopefully for the Yomp I'll have my new springs....
