Hi, the powered boot on my car ('03 plate CL) works to both open and close but it sounds as if opening especially is a bit of a chore. Sometimes it needs just a bit of manual help to start opening.
Has anyone experienced this and / or can suggest a fix. Could this just be a case of lubricating the mechanism? Having looked, I'm not even sure if this is a mechanical or hydraulic mechanism!
