Hi guys

I have bought a set of 1999 clk alloy wheels. I planned to fit them to my 1997 108d vito, however when i attempted to fit i realised the stud holes in the wheels are too small. The stud patern is fine.
There only a fraction too small.
Could these just be drilled bigger?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure the centre hole is the right diameter as those vary too? Pretty sure CLK wheels won't have a high enough load rating for a van anyway - there's a reason why the Vito has bigger diameter studs!

As above plus the Vito has 14mm bolts not 12mm
The et will be wrong and the wheels will stick out.

The wheels fit fine and sit perfect, its just the issue with the stud holes. My van only ever carries my motocross bike so im willing to take the risk with the weight. I have put extra load tyres on at least.

Pretty much all been said but FWIW... Dunno which size CLK wheels you bought but the ET will be somewhere in the 30s whereas a Vito should use an ET in the 50s for the most part i.e. the wheels will stick out around 20 - 25mm further than they should which may cause contact in use (turning/suspension movement etc)

Sounds to me that no matter what we say you will still do it, so in that case , you carry on , Psst just dont tell the insurance otherwise your insurance will be invalid and any claims made by you will also be null and void due to you not only fitting the wrong wheels to your vehicle, but also to illegally modify them in order to make them fit aswell.

Carry on regardless i think i the motto
