I wonder what courtesy helicopter they get :D :D
whatever they get, it will be a lot smaller than the one that's gone in for service. :D

What a lovely thread to read on getting home from an eventful holiday. Glad it was such a lovely day for you all. Hope to be able to make the next one - oh and we'd be up for camping having just rekitted ourselves out and having had two camping sessions in the past two weeks :bannana: ;)

Andy_k, do you have any more pics of that shifty character you show looking at Splangs car? I am sure I have seen the bugger down around here driving a small SILVER Citroen. Have to say it did suit him! :D :D

<cough> ahemm, was looking at just where to start with the paint stripper and wondering what colour would suit it. Do we go for the rust look or the hairdresser yellow? :D :D

This is what was left of the spread after a certain so called "Gentleman" got in there :D

Looks like a great time was had by all. Getting real withdraw symptoms, have not been able to get to a gtg since we had lunch up on the hills.

John, Thanks again for welcoming us all to your home.

The pleasure was truly ours, but you have both caused much embarrassment...

Wife says to say a very big THANK YOU for the beautiful flowers. Andy, Ann and Maff must also be thanked for their flowers, chocolates and wine..THANK YOU (not silver) but again..... I just so much enjoyed the day and appreciated the gesture made by everyone.

They are greatly appreciated, but we were so humbled by the gesture you all made in simply turning up.

If you are EVER in the area and this applies to anyone on this excellent forum PLEASE pop in for a quick hello and a cup of whatever! Andy, Maff, Splang, janner, Mike1 and of course the better halfs my thanks also equally apply.

I think it only right and proper to point out that I have received numerous p.m's from members who were unable to get here and we fully understand all the reasons that were given. Thank you everyone for the apologies.

THANK YOU ALL very much,
Yours very sincerely,
John, Gloria and family

Glad the event was a great success. ( as if it wouldnt be with our members). Really sorry we couldnt make it - major issues at work at the moment.

Hope to catch us with some of you again before the end of the year ... that's if mustangs are allowed!

Glojo, what a fantastic location you live in. I havent been to torquay for years but up to about age 15 almost every annual family holiday was spent in Devon or Cornwall. I have many fond memories and it would have been nice visit the area again & meet you and your family.

well done for hosting the gtg.
