Recall information from MB(UK) for my W211 52 E Class 270CDI

Hi, I recently bought a 52 plate E Class 270CDI Avantgarde saloon. Yet to use it as I'm in the process of selling my old car. After reading all the recall information on this site and else where on the web, I decided to contact MB(UK) for any information regarding the recall work done on my vehicle. Just wanted to say they were very helpful and prompt with providing the information. So, anyone looking to buy a pre-facelift W211 E Class can obtain information regarding the vehicle from MB. Sorry if most of you know this already and the new generation of E Class is upon us, but I've found this forum very useful and informative from people 'in-the-know' without the sales pitch from dealers and wanted to share my experience.

Here's what they found for my vehicle. There is no mention of the Valeo radiator beinng replaced though, but I'll be checking this myself. As my car is now at 88000 miles and seems a while ago these checks were carried out, I'll be having them looked at before putting the car on the road. Can some of you good people explain exactly what was done here please? Some are obvious to me but not all.

Can't help with the questions, but I can tell you that the Valeo radiator problem was not the subject of a recall. It perhaps should have been, but they decided to let the customer field that one instead...

2005 Mount ground line & braket on SBC 37104

This was the SBC (brake system) fix - where a cable was re-routed to prevent earthing - or similar. A new support bracket for the cable was fitted.

2005 Program battery control unit 37104

this was when they flashed new battery voltage management software to the Energy Management Unit to reduce the number of Low Battery warnings. It should halp prevent getting a flat battery.

2005 Check CDI low pressure fuel hoses & replace if necessary 33501

Lots of E classes puddled diesel underneath the car from leaking hoses. The guilty hoses and connections were replaced.

The last one was an update to the navigation system, I think? the ones I have described were also done to my car.

Front subframe: modified bolts and washers

Scuttle drain pipe inside N/S wing bucket removed.
