Recommend a snow foam set up

Super Snow Foam or Magifoam - what's the unique selling point of each??

This may come a bit late for you, but my vote goes for the Nilfisk C110. Great little machine, cheap, does the job and very durable. This was demonstrated one weekend when due to my own stupidity, the unit was left running continuously with no water running through it (i.e. the worst possible thing you could do to it) for a whole weekend and it was absolutely fine - it's still working 3 years later.

You may want to replace the freebie foam lance attachment with a better one though.

My brother has a Nilfisk C110 as well... very good pressure washer.

I've never tried snow foam before. I used a hand mit for washing my last car for 4 years and by leaving the heavily soiled areas at the bottom until last and frequently rinsing at that point, managed to keep the car swirl free for the entire 4 years.

Snow foam looks like an even better option for tackling heavy soiling though....? How do you apply, spray on with lance, leave, then power wash off, then conventional wash?

I believe that's pretty much the procedure.

Last night I spotted a Karcher box waiting to get wrapped, and I suspect the parcel awaiting collection from the courier depot is the snow foam lance.

The setup I have is Nilfisk 110, Autobrite lance and Magifoam, it really is a great set up!

When ordering that setup, does it come with all the required connections or do you have to specify what you need?

Thanks.

Mr Impatient I just went ahead and ordered the lot. Googling said I would need the "kew" adaptor but I sent autobright an email to make sure the ship the right connector for that power washer.

I have this setup from Autobrite for my cheap-as-chips Karcher K2 and it works brilliantly.

You do get funny looks from the neighbours tho . . .

Ordered the magifoam and autobrite lance a few days ago, arrived yesterday. Picked up the nilfisk from Argos today. Hoping for a dry day tomorrow.

Did mine today, I left it on a good half an hour because of all the dirt on there.

You ok with the dilution rates etc? Feel free to ask if you need any advice.

If I picked up the movie clip right, 2 inches of fluid in the bottom of the container, top up with warm water, good to go?

Not sure if I need to mess around with the brass screws on top of the autobrite.

I usually put an inch in then put warm water in 3/4 of the way up. Leave it on for 20 mins ( I do the wheels in this time) then rinse off. You can alter the nobs at the top, I make sure the nozzle nob if you like is giving quite a wide spray then the other one turned tight to the minus side (I think).

Karcher and snow foam set up was a gift from the children for my Birthday this week. Today would have been the first opportunity to try it, but ironically the car is covered in real snow now!
