Recommendations please: roofbars for S211?

Really pleased with the E500. I have been enjoying myself tinkering with it. In Addition to the roofbars I have fitted an OEM cup holder. Natty design but now have to purchase a new coffee cup as mine doesn't fit!

I have also bought a Belkin aux in cable so I can play music from an iPhone.

Ball joint next on the to do list which I will get done before we travel to the south of France in the summer. I will probably get the wheels refurbed at the same time although this may have to wait as the MX 5 needs major work plus the the house renovations.....

Where did you get the cup holder from, can you post a pic please?

I had to change the feet on my roof bars when we moved house (had changed cars a bit before that and not used the roof box since). Thankfully, I didn't decide to change them on the day we moved house....from recollection, I think the instructions were just rubbish photos. They may have well just typed "ha ha ha, good luck" on them, for the use they were. I think the first foot took me about 90 mins to change, the last one 10 mins.

I'm in a similar boat to you, in that I also own a mx5 and house, which both require "renovation"......

The house is like the Forth Road Bridge and will never be finished I am resigned to that.

The MX5 hmmmmm. Bought in haste as a stopgap. I broke every rule of purchasing and is not really worth ploughing more money into as has been unloved for a long time.

With that in mind I am hoping to view another mx5 this weekend which is the car i should have bought. Going to sell the current mx5 for parts as it has serious rust underneath. I do love them though and think I will have the perfect combo of cars!

S211 roof bars to go (free)

Have a set that have been sitting in my loft for 5 years. Part no. B6 685 0270, 2 locking keys, instruction manual but no hex key (can use a standard Allen key, as I did). Bought off a guy who used them once and I used them about twice I think. Would have to be able to collect from West Sussex and don't want anything for them (maybe buy me a pint ) Thought I stick this here, since there is a thread going, if now OT.
