Removing C63 Coupe Door Panels + Speaker Size?

Very good stuff.
Cleansweeps have mixed reviews, generally work very well but try the system before the auto eq and see how you like it. Sometimes the factory stereo has good tuning for the vehicle acoustics.
There are also some good MOST pre amp interfaces now which will give a much cleaner signal to your amps than the cleansweep will.

Mercedes use the same fixture methods across lots of their models.
I can't imagine this model being much different.
Torx screw under the airbag sign and under the armrest are typical favourites...
Bottom un poppers out with some good plastic trim tools and then lifts up out of the top.
Don't quote me on this and don't damage your shiny new car because of me!

I dont know why but it seems as if I am getting a bad rapport with some members on here and to be honest I haven't done anything wrong.

I am going to be a new MB owner and really just wanted to know some information on the car from your experiences.

:)

Hi Stu

£3k worth of sound equipment can quickly sound like £30 of halfords junk if not installed/setup correctly

You know what they say - 10% equipment, 90% installation!

If you get the speaker mounting points rigid, and the door as airtight as possible, whatever you fit will sound much better. Lots of people now use MDF or steel speaker rigs to attach the speaker to the door - good idea in my view

Stu, my hat off to you for what you are doing. Hopefully we get to hear what it sounds like at a meet one day. You will love the car, as Mika say, every time you turn the key. My only comment is that on nice days you might want no sound system at all, and just listen to the car :-).
