has anyone had experience of changing individual bits of a binacle (if thats how you spell it?) today the clock thats within the rev counter part of the dash packed up, all fuses working so presume its a replace job so will be looking for one from a breakers yard, anyone done this, is it expensive for parts and to fit?

got a price from MB....£278 plus vat.....for a rev counter with clock!!

check its not a bad connection or something. My clock has recently stopped working (which is common), ill pick one up from dronsfields.. but as both rev counter and clock arent working, id suspect something else is at fault...
