Back home safe and sound only one track open on the M62 with the snow, right decision to come in the Volvo I doubt the 208 would have made it up the incline in all that snow

Thanks for organising Andrew two new firsts for me never been to Southport before and never been on the M58 before so ticked those boxes now

Great food great company and great chat although I suspect I might regret ordering that Naga Balti in the morning

Glad you got home OK.

Off to Cardiff tomorrow - and I will report back on the food - hopefully the trains will be running OK tomorrow afternoon and early morning Friday for the return journey. Also hope it won't be too cold waiting on the platforms … … …
