I replaced the heater panel illumination bulbs on the Sprinter.

Everything seemed okay but I no longer have any heat from the heater.

The right hand knob in the picture is the temperature control and is connected to a cable that I assume opens a flap to allow the hot air in from the engine. The control felt a loose on the cable after the bulb change but after experimenting I have the tension back to somewhere near normal.

Does anyone know where the flap is located?

Or perhaps I have disturbed or broken part of the heater mechanism.

Checked relevant fuses and both are okay.

Any help much appreciated.

Paul.

Its your 'O' valve playing up, part of the 'Wahey' solenoid, situated next to the giggle pin on the undergearbox kickstart.

What time is it?

:What's gone wrong with the times of the posts on this thread? They seem to be an hour out.

For info, I'm posting this at 19:14.

And just as my post shows in the thread, the times of the 1st two posts lose an hour. :dk:
