2. C240sport97
3. Trapperjohn
4. IanF (likely keep it that way mate, actually just be there)
5. BEJ (as IanF)
6. Simon Speed cos you'll just be there...LOL

Stayed there for a week in nov. near windermere. Recommend the Drunken Duck as a stop for lunch. Good place in general but perhaps having the C63 was not the wisest choice for some of the country lanes! Motor musuem was great.

A C class aint to bad for barrelling around there. Slimmer than an E....

I imagine 450bhp plus and a Cer to be a bit of a giggle charging up the Kirkstone. I'd get your name down...

steve, you going to look for hotels nearby?

Yes.

I'll stay here Friday night. Id start the tour off around 10 to 1030. It's not a massive one but not short either.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. I've stayed here before. There is no finer hotel for the money in the area.

You'll need two nights unless you're prepared to get to London vlate Saturday.

looks good. I'll book tomorrow. Can't decide whether to stay Sat night as well.

are you staying Sat night too?

I think I should be able to make this - I'll just check with the other half that we haven't got anything pre-booked and then I'll also book a room tomorrow if we're going for the 6th April.

Sean just the one night for me. Im about. 2hrs30 away...

Mark, shame but look out for the Scotland tour.

Andy, good man

Lomp

Hi Steve, I have decided against this one as it is a hell of a long way just for one days driving on roads that I know very well. 310 miles each way to drive 117 miles just doesn't add up.
Will see you at Ollys GTG in May.

:fail:fail:fail

You can officially add me to the list - room booked at Pooley Bridge Inn for Friday 5th April (you lot better be going now!).

I have also booked a table for dinner at 8pm should anyone else fancy eating at a similar time.

Super, see you there.

I'm kinda tempted to make the journey down for this would be one fantastic drive round the lakes. 500+ mile round trip and a overnight though...

When do you propose to hold the Scotland tour, Steve? That'll help me decide whether to go for the lakes or wait a little while. ;)

The Scotland tour I am aiming to hold in September. I need to give real thought to the routes and needs of others coming on this tour, some want a longer tour, others need to leave Friday/back Monday and others want the North Coast.

I've got to work out something that is good for everyone.
