Changing my front brake pads on my 1997 W210 E320 estate this weekend :D

Are there any specific problems I am likely to encounter?

Have bought a new 7mm allen key (witht a nice big red plastic handle :D ) but will I need anything else?

Cheers, :D

I changed mine all round last week for a normal set this time, as opposed to the high performance ones I fitted last time.
(Too much brake dust)
You will need to push the pistons in the caliper inwards whilst turning it SLOWLY in a clockwise direction, to get the pistons to go in.
I have the special tool for this, but is easily done by carefully using a G-clamp and a file (or something similar with a straight edge) to sit in the grove in the pistons.
Do one at a time and hold the first in position with another G-clamp whilst doing the second, or the first will start to come out again.
(If this makes sense)
Mine might be different to yours though, as is the AMG.

Cheers, interestingly on the box the pads came in it says AMG and E320

Did the E320 get the same brakes as the AMG cars?

The pads might be the same, but I'll put money on it the callipers are different.
Mine have AMG stamped in them
