Anyone know if you can get the steel fuel pipes that connect the various underneath parts (pump, filter etc) by the rear axle? They're all rusty and one of 'em is leaking. There are steel pipes with pipe unions connecting the components and one which leads to a flexi pipe that then connects to the steel pipe running along the underneath of the car to the engine. Not certain which of them is leaking but they all look dodgy.

The other k-jet car I had (sierra 2.8) had a similar arrangement of components but it had plastic pipes connecting them together, with banjo bolts.

Have a look at this FUEL PUMP PACKAGE FUEL SYSTEM You may be able to get some of the parts from MB still as that design changed little over the 80's or try to get a hold of a complete assembly - pump, filter and accumulator plus pipework from a breaker

I had to get mine from MB - about £80 if I remember correctly.
