That's really coming together beautifully! You can't half tell the quality difference between the MB wiper (nice logo) and the Bosch one.

Cheers dude. The MB wiper is much thicker than the Bosch one too, forgot to grab a proper photo, swipes the screen so much better (sad I know!)...things we do to get it "right" !

To tell you the truth I didnt really notice it. But going back and looking at it I find it less fussy and in keeping with the car which is a surprise at every corner, in a most positive way.

Anyway as a separate point LHD especially on Mercedes and other German cars carries more status in Japan. Strange but true!

The rainbow speakers are excellent, I got them in my 500.
They take some time to produce a depth of sound but once they bed in, they sound fantastic.

Bosch caps can be ordered by ECP and they are the same as the MB ones.

Not much more than that on eBay. I think around 23quid IRCC from MB. Quality is far superior and lasts longer. The yellow sticker (which you're suppose to peal) to the right of the MB logo is your indicator when it's time to replace. Sticker when pealed is black or dark grey dot i think and will eventually turn yellow when knackered

I would be careful here. Last Bosch caps my mate bought from ECP for his M100 were substandard . ok may not be the case for M119 but compare if you can. He had a stumble at idle one from ECP, and no wonder seeing the difference

Few pics from today - decided to get the car a repaint once I'm happy with everything else. The passenger side mirror base needs replacing too as it's deformed (probably with heat from Japan). I will also have the split rims refurbed fully and obviously the correct tyres fitted.

Looking into getting the resonators removed so I can have pipes straight through from the cats to the backbox, waiting for a quote from my local garage who does welding. Discs and pads also replaced yesterday and I can already feel a massive difference! Anyways some pics today, sorry they're dark the sunshine was short lived!

Cheers it's certainly shaping up. Need a thick gold chain, shaven head and pistol on the hip to pull off the look in south London!

re the badges they will be staying but this side is a bit wonky if I'm honest and I don't think they look right in that position but I'll probably just leave them there for now
