W169 NGT2.5 Retrofit - Microphone Loom placement

Ok - Pretty much all done! I'm booked in with the comandonline guys for the STAR programming to sort out the reverse camera and the Navigation dispay next Wednesday!

In the mean time can anyone point me in the correct direction for moving the connections on the existing Audio 20 (12 Pin Block) Aux Input (pictured in my 1st post) to the NTG2.5 (18 Pin Block) media connector?


I think it as follows:

audio 20 ---------------- NTG2.5

Pin 12 (Aux Right) ----> Pin 13
Pin 11 (Aux GND) -----> Pin12
Pin 6 (Aux Left) -------> Pin 4
Pin 5 (Aux Shield) ----> Pin ???????

ok thanks - that Audio 20 appears to be the newer version to mine (red display)? Are the Pinouts still the same?

You wanted the NTG2.5 pinout which is what the above is?

They don't. They move from the white 12 pin AUX block to the Black 12 pin AUX block (and the pin numbers all change) (see npuk post)
