Thinking at putting a 2.3-16 LSD in my twin turbo W124. Got one lying about... Its a 300CE-24 running a getrag manual and what I assume is a 24v diff. Will the 16v diff bolt straight up to the subframe and W124 shafts and prop? And will it make the gearing any closer? Pretty short as it is..

I have to say I don't think it'll last long due to the torque of the engine
You might be able to rebuild a W124 diff with the LSD component of the W201
There's a neat spreadsheet floating about with all the details of W124 vs W201 diffs, driveshafts & ratios. Have a look at that

how about a mig tec or arc tec diff, cheap as chips but check ur wheel nuts every week!!!!!
