Just trying to sort out my w203 cdi coupe , smelt the usual diesel and checked the engine and theres a leak on one of the pipes to the left of the high pressure pump which going by other threads is quite common .

My question is what are the part numbers I need to get it's the pipe on the left on the left (with the white o ring) that seems to be giving bother. I've looked at the EPC and can't make head nor tail of it in relation to what I need!

Also how do you remove these pipes can't quite figure it out and don't want to force anything.

From what I gather this is the fuel supply pipe ? maybe worth replacing all fuel lines ? (if so any part numbers would be a great help as the EPC is hard for me to figure out in relation to what I need )

Thanks
Phil

Photo of pump it's the two pipes , does it need a special tool?

I cannot say anything about part numbers, put VIN in EPC and you should get right part numbers (and dealer will know exactly what you need, and often their price is not so bad).

First, things are easier if you remove aux belt first. Very good videos in youtube. There is a clip under the hp-pump which holds hoses. Then at pump side, remove that torx bolt, and metal plate can be removed. Then you can wiggle hoses out from the pump (o-rings are holding them sometimes little tight).

Thanks thats great , yeah taking the belt off as it needs replaced anyways have the metal plate off but they seemed a bit tight and didn't want to force it too hard till I got some reassurance on how it came off!

There is a small slot in hose connector where you can twist with small flat screwdriver. If you have spare parts, you won't need to be afraid braking something. Often hoses are brittle and they crumbles when the are bent. There is also a white foam like seal under the plate, which tighten hoses deeper in the hole. On the other end there is probably a white clip which attach the hose. Clip works 'opposite' direction, so you need to push it inwards in order to release the hose...

You fuel system looks different than I've found, there is no shut down valve in other fuel line (or is is located somewhere other side of the pump in coupe model)? Usually it's next to hp pump...
