w203 saloon tail light problem

Hi guys, plz help!

yesterday my left tailight warning sign came up on the dash, along with the "back up" light notice.

Today I changed the faulty bulb but now my left side taillights are brighter then my right??

Is it a possible electrical fault? Or am I missing something?
