Ah ok, pretty easy then!

Love the colour and wheels 😍

I'd like to know your budget and spec you are after and a few on here maybe able to help imo they will not go down to pre pandemic prices .
Before I bought my ppp c63 there was a 507 with 33k fsh private sale for 19k and took around a week to sell just look at the prices now
This is likely to be double that!

As a slight tangent (sorry), and not so interesting aside, I would love to know what factors are at play here. Obviously there were supply and demand and chip issues that initially affected the second hand market, but how will it play out for the performance car market? Do some sections of society have more money "after" the pandemic for these cars? Has the pandemic made more people think f@@k it, I'll get that car I've always wanted, life's too short? Is the relentless push towards EVs making people buy these cars as a "last chance"? I guess we'll never really know.
I think the pandemic whilst horrific for some, was actually very good (financially) for others. Personally speaking I bought my car in July 2020, when the pandemic was in full swing - car prices at the time were favourable (for me at least), I was in the the 'window' to step out of my then current PCP agreement on my previous car and I was full time working from home, so I had no need to factor in any commuting costs.

There was also an element of fearing the EV reality too, that fact alone will quite possibly make me keep this car beyond the PCP sweet spot (for VT'ing out), just in case they end up being outlawed. But I really want to see where the whole synthetic fuel thing goes, because what happens in the next 2-4 years will dictate whether or not I buy another performance car or not.

Amen brother. I tend to find that people who are serious about doing anything, including buying a car, tend to just do it. They don't post to tell people they're thinking about buying a car, they just do it.

They certainly don't go on and on about how all the cars are overpriced and that they will pay what they think the car is worth as an ex VW/Audi sales manager.

You have to pay to play as they say.
Fair enough....Ill keep quiet about any purchase until I post a pic of it on my drive. All I'll say is that I'm in no rush and the with current high prices are slowly dropping so it makes sense to be fussy and wait I've taken a couple years to find previous cars (Like my CLK).
As for what I want and want to pay....well these are examples of what I'm looking at......right sort of price/age/spec combo for me. Although the wheels on the first white one are hideous!! I really like the grey one......but its my busiest time of year at work and I'm short staffed.....so finding a day to get there and back will not be easy for the next few weeks. Life just gets in the way of everything!!

Is that pressurised.....i.e is it self supporting when open or under any sort of air pressure.....just curious.
It has a frame and 2 motorised fans which keep the air moving constantly so there is no moisture its actually the best thing I've bought it also comes in different sizes 😉

Reckon that first one is pretty decent value for an S. Can't see it taking long to sell. Autotrader reckons £3.5k below market average...

Agree with Rich, the grey E63S looks a nice example and is well priced. I'd just about take the black interior too.
Neither white one does it for me. The last one has had a wheel refurb and its lost the silver lip. It also has a gloomy all black interior ( sorry black fans;))

If you are serious about getting one of these cars, I'd make time to see it before it's sold. I don't see it being available for too long.

You really are an interior racist aren't you 😉😂

I know people says prices are falling, but I think you could wait quite a while for a substantial decrease. Although trade in prices for my E63 appeared to be dropping, Autotrader estimates a private sale price of £4k more than I bought it from a dealer for 18 months and 8k miles ago... my point is I think the market has shifted, and I don't think it will return to the same pre pandemic levels for performance cars.

Yep. 6 years of an all black interior in my E55 was enough.
I'll avoid it now if at all possible.
I actually don't mind it, I like dull and boring 😁
