Calling all W208 owners - does your car have a working warning light and/or buzzer if you drive without the driver's seatbelt fastened?
According to WIS, the alarm (if present) should illuminate/sound when the engine is running and the driver's door is shut. There should be a dedicated microswitch on the driver's seat belt buckle for this - no CANbus malarchy.
According to my car, I have a bulb in place in the dashboard for the lamp. I also have a switch on both the driver's and passenger's buckles, (but these may be for the restraint system), but no warning.
Can't fathom it from WIS - too many national variants, too few brain cells.
Help
Thanks
(PS, this is a purely academic question - no advice needed about wearing a seat belt etc.......thanks anyway)
