E55 estate that has been a CAT C. Probably only worth 1k, as we have seen mint ones struggle to reach 2k on ebay recently.

Anyone looking for a 5.5 for a conversion. Might be worth a look.

Ha.... I dunno why I hit W212. Was watching Africa on TV as I typed, so my mind was on lions.

Just came back to say that it also seems to come with a Private plate on it, that may get you a couple of hundred quid.

Why not just buy and run it? The damage seems to have been sorted; would the VIC inspection have shown up anything not properly repaired?

Would there be a problem insuring it?

From my limited knowledge (google), it seems there would be no insurance problem. Estates seem to be a bit rarer, so this is a reasonable-ish price.

I am looking for a facelift myself though.

I would imagine any kind of ding would write these cars off at the moment.

Vic inspection is just checking vin plates and engine numbers, they don't care about damage or repairs.
