The other day when set to 4 my heater blower seemed to be almost cutting in and out running fast then slow then fast when higher speed selected it worked fine as did slower speed does this mean motor or bushes are going
(the heater tends to be on 100% of the time unless its a heatwave )
another major dismantling job on the cards?

+1

Mine is the CC version but had the same symptoms a couple of years back. Second hand part from Rob@ThreePointedStar sorted it at a reasonable price :thumb:

thanks for that hopefully it will last until either warmer weather or i get the 124 out of the garage

Make sure you order a new pollen filter and change it at the same time as the regulator - they tend to be what kills the regulator as they get blocked up causing the regulator to overheat and fail. You have to remove the filter to change the regulator anyway. Both of the W210's I bought had the same fault when I got them!

Cheers ,Yes I have overlooked the pollen filter on recent services not changed it for a while
