Hi,
I'm hoping someone here will have some old parts that are collecting dust and perhaps could make a few quid out of them....
The "turret" is missing from the adjuster for rear view mirror control.... the new replacement unit is £100's and considering someone here MAY have replaced a faulty unit - perhaps there's a spare "turret" floating around. I'm sure it will simply 'click' ontop of the stalk - or I need to desolder the whole switch and replace with a good one.
My switch looks like this: MERCEDES CLK W208 ELECTRIC MIRRORS WINDOWS BOOT SWITCH on eBay (end time 27-May-11 18:39:08 BST)
If no-one can help - I'm going to buy one from ebay and strip the parts off it - just a shame to do that to something that works fine.... I suppose it's proper re-cycling!
If there's a knob for a Comand unit around - I'd be happy to buy that (I can get them for £25 on ebay - but if someone has spares on here - I'd rather buy here than ebay!!!
