Wanted : C36 0r c42 amg back box

Hi guys, I was wandering if anybody had one of the above lying around by any chance. Iv had enough of my current one (it makes too much noise!). Id prefer the C36 (square pipes), but im not a fussy man. As long as it fits my year 97' W202 C180.

Either one will require a sleeve to be made to match up to the smaller exhaust diameter that the 180 has ....

Just out of interest Howard, did the garage do that for you when you fitted you box on?

No , because the 55 backbox that i have on my car fits straight onto the pipe that is already there ( the 4.3 and 5.5 V8 use the same diameter tubing ) .

Putting a V8 backbox onto tubing from a V6 or I4 will need an adaptor made up.

Any decent exhaust fitting place should be able to make you up a sleeve . Shouldn't be too much .

I had one made up a while ago and if I remember correctly I got change out of £25

The C36 has the square pipes...the C43 ones are oval.
