What car did you pass your driving test in?

Astra Deisel, 1.7 DTi, never did find the turbo on it.

On the plus side I didn't get any minors in the speed box at all!

A mark 1 Ford Escort .Courtesy of Alans school of motoring , Bristol , 1972. I remember being constantly reminded , " use the bloody brakes to slow down,
not my gearbox".:)

I passed my car test in a Peugeot 305

HGV1 in a Volvo F7

PSV in a coachbuilt stretched MK2 Transit

I passed my car test in an Austin Mini Metro and my bike test on a Kawasaki KH250.

Those were the days :)

Some interesting answers here - particularly the rarer breeds.
There's nothing wrong with seeing where we've all come from to get to where we are now.

I've been wondering whether we should have mandatory re-testing every 10 years...

Learnt in a Diahatsu Charade and my mum's Ford Escort 1.4L of '84 vintage. Passed test 2 days after my 17th birthday in 1988.

I was fortunate that parents had a farm, so I had lots of old bangers to drive around the meadows/fields etc. There were plenty of out buildings to reverse park in etc.
