What car did you pass your driving test in?

A 1976 Jeep Wagoneer with Quadratrac, slotted mags, and an AM radio, power steering and brakes, a 360 (5.9L) V8 and an automatic tranny, those were the only options on it. It had rubber mats instead of carpet, vinyl bench seats, crank windows. It was reliable as a hammer and just as simple.

Ford Consul Classic

My Mum's, back in 1970. Not this one, but same model and colour.
I now have a small 1/43 model of it sitting on my desk, next to my 1/43 model CLK, and I still can't make my mind up which is prettiest

Nissan micra, does anybody actually have the same car that they passed their test in? I asked around the other day and could find nobody. :bannana:

1974 mini pick up, in red! with a 1300GT engine fitted.

In California, I know they will keep renewing your license as long as it didn't get suspended at any time. That's when you have to take a test. I would assume the same applies in most other states.

1938 Austin 10 ,,at Newbury The car cost me £3 /10 shillings

Holy thread revival!

Learned and did test in my mum's 1984/A MG Metro couple of years ago.

Quite a pokey little car in hindsight.
