What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Another day, another car service. I have a concentration of MOT tests and services due in a one month period. This the last service under the service care plan. Booked in for a B service, brake fluid and panoramic roof based upon ESS, but they’ve plugged the car in a the car needs an automatic transmission fluid service.

In January I had a different car serviced and it went the other way, with a transmission service being required according to ESS and confirmed when I booked it in a month or so earlier, but declined on the day by the service care plan team as they only cover what the car says it need when plugged in.

Apparently that changed in early December, and is causing confusion and it’s all left to the Service Advisors to deal with. On this occasion it has worked in my favour with an extra transmission service, but the only drawback is that they weren’t expecting it so parts are coming from another dealer.

Where do you go for your services Rob?

My Ctek mxs5.0 recently failed, replaced it with a maypole. Seems to work well for the moment 😁
I’ve had a maypole for years as have a number of relatives on my recommendation. They have all been faultless .
Can’t beat the price of them

Finally got round to replacing the injectors.

Put it back on the ground after semi-abandoning it up on the lift for ages.

I've not exactly been neglecting it, it's had a charger permanently connected and has been cleaned regularly, but it's going to get a bit of care in the next couple or three weeks ready for April when I get round to taxing it again.

It's been a long 6 months without it, it's actually done more miles vertically than horizontally as it's only been out of the garage a couple of times when I've needed the lift for the other car.

Took the old girl out to give me a little break from the decorating and got a thumbs up from a guy driving some big American truck, made me smile

Another day another MOT. I have a concentration of services and MOTs in February and March but that’s the last one for a few months. Passed with flying colours.

Had both a B service and MOT, which it passed, cleanly down with MBS.

Nothing needed on the service either.

With new tyres on late last year, heres hoping a bill free 12 months coming up (Nox sensor seems to have sorted itself out)
